It wouldn't be Dallas without this: Neiman Marcus —the original store—is just a few blocks from the hotel, on Main Street at Ervay. Deep Ellum (from the hotel, walk up to Elm and turn right) is host to a number of warehouse shops, dealing in Southwestern furniture, local cheese, and other unusual items. West End Marketplace, over toward Dealey Plaza, is also a good place to go shopping. It's a long walking-distance from the hotel. McKinney Avenue also hosts shops and clubs. Take the McKinney Ave Trolley from near the Dallas Museum of Art, $1 each way. |
